How to Acquire an Asset of Higher Value

You will find a number of listings of encumbered assets on AssetFair. Some of the assets are listed even along with an unrelated debt, which the listing member wants to make a part of the exchange deal. You can always bid on the asset of a higher value, offering an asset of yours of a lower value and requesting financing (carryback) from the other party, or paying off the encumbrance.

Some assets are offered with financing. If the listing member is willing to provide owner financing, you can see it in the listing detail as "Carryback Available", including the amount. There are also assets listed on 3D Exchange which come along with new financing offered by a third party to a qualified borrower (Owner and Lender seek Redeemer). You can be the Redeemer, if the Owner accepts your offer of a lower-value asset and if you qualify for the financing.

You can even invite offers of assets of higher value in exchange for your listed asset. If you have a party ready to finance the difference between the value of your listed asset and the value of an asset you desire in exchange (as stated in Preferred Exchange), you can enter the listing on 3D Exchange as Redeemer (you) and Lender (your new lender) seek Owner (of the higher-value desired asset).
 
There is no surcharge for listings posted on 3D Exchange.
